looking for a similar dish that has the same texture and very timely I saw
chef Boy Logro prepares “suam na mais” or corn soup on his show Idol sa Kusina and which I thought would be a great substitute...am sure you'll love to try this corn soup that is full of flavor ..
no need to itemize the ingredients just follow these simple steps..sweat bacon in a pan and saute garlic, onion, add in the pork and shrimps (shelled) and fish sauce and stir cook for a few minutes then add in the sticky white corn (straightly grated from the cob) add water or chicken stock, add fish sauce and cook until thick consistency of the soup is achieved then you can add creamed corn kernel to make the soup more creamier... salt and pepper to taste..then add in the spinach (optional)...
