Sauteed Shrimp and Tofu
not judging by the looks, but this (SST) sauteed shrimps and tofu is truly the best! not because my sister liezl prepared it for us on father's day! but guaranteed the taste is so good..it taste so good you can forget your on a diet....you can serve it over a bed of steamy rice..wow!....here's how : (1) In a large skillet, put about 2 1/2 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium heat. (2) cook the tofu until golden brown and set aside (3) on the same skillet, add 1/2 tablespoon of butter then add the garlic then the shrimp and saute for about 1 minute.(4) Add a teaspoon of brown sugar, a squeeze of lemon juice, salt and pepper, a dash of chili powder; stir to coat the shrimp. (5) Add in the tofu and saute for about 3-4 minutes (until the shrimp are bright pink) (6) Remove from the heat and serve (you may sprinkle some chopped parsley before serving).
